Description
Heruka Vajrasattva (Vajrasattva with Consort) is considered to be a manifestation of the unity of fully developed male and female energy, the complete purity of the state of enlightenment.
Vajrasattva (Tib.: Dorje Sempa) stands for purification of the mind, which is essential for anybody who wishes to advance along the spiritual path.
The Vajrasattva practice is said to be particularly powerful for purifying the mind and the negative actions of body and speech that arise from it. In all four schools of Tibetan Buddhism, the Vajrasattva practice is one of the preliminary practices.
Vajrasattva wears the beautiful silken robes and jewels like classical Indian royalty.
The tantric attributes in his hands, the Vajra and the Bell, represent Wisdom and Method, the two aspects are essential if you want to make developments on the path to enlightenment.
